Jazz & Hip Hop: Beats, Drums, and Breaks

Location: Park Tavern Piedmont Room 

Beats, Drums & Breaks is an interactive workshop that explores the fusion of Hip Hop and modern jazz. Inspired by artists like Derrick Hodge and Robert Glasper, participants will experience live collaborations where jazz meets DJing. The session highlights iconic tracks from both genres, showcasing how they’ve influenced and shaped each other. Led by We Got the Jazz featuring trumpeter/hip-hop artist Dashill Smith.
